VF Corporation Chooses Colorado as its New Global Headquarters

DENVER – VF Corporation, one of the world’s largest apparel, footwear and accessories companies and owner of outdoor brands including The North Face®, JanSport® and Smartwool®, is moving its global headquarters to Denver.

AlphaGraphics moving HQ to Metro Denver Area

Printing and marketing communication services company AlphaGraphics Inc. will make the greater Denver Metro Area the home of its corporate headquarters.

The company, now based in Salt Lake City, Utah, announced plans to move its headquarters to Colorado before the end of the year.

"We have made the strategic business decision to be in the Greater Denver Metro Area," said Ryan Farris, President and Chief Operating Officer of AlphaGraphics. "We are reviewing specific location alternatives and expect to make a final decision shortly.”

Arrow acquires San Jose/India-based engineering firm of 1,500 employees

Centennial-based Arrow Electronics Inc. on Tuesday said it acquired San Jose-based eInfochips for an undisclosed sum.

EInfochips, founded by former Intel Corp. chip designer Pratul Shroff in 1994, is a project engineering firm that offers high-tech design services like chip design. It employs 1,500 people with many workers at its dual headquarters in India. Arrow’s services link customers to its engineers online to offer virtual collaboration.

Silicon Valley’s Marketo plants office in Denver to help develop marketing messages people want to hear

Last April, Steve Lucas walked into Marketo’s new temporary space in the Denver City Center and saw the head of human resources sitting at a desk next to the company’s only other Denver employee.

“They were at two desks and that was it, just staring at each other,” said Lucas, who became CEO of the San Mateo, Calif.-based marketing technology company in November 2016. “I just went ‘OK, … we can do this.’ We were hoping to get up to 150 employees by the end of the year.”
