Advances in Wind Technology Find Home in Colorado

When IACMI’s Wind Technology Area Director, Derek Berry, unveiled a newly-created nine-meter wind blade at the ribbon-cutting event at National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) Composites Manufacturing Education and Technology (CoMET) Facility at the National Wind Technology Center (NWTC) in January, over 150 people witnessed advances in composites that would change the wind manufacturing process forever.

ConAgra Foods, Cargill and CHS choose Colorado for Ardent Mills headquarters

DENVER — Tuesday, July 16, 2013 — Gov. John Hickenlooper announced today that Ardent Mills – which will operate as a joint venture of ConAgra Foods, Cargill and CHS – will make Colorado its headquarters. The joint venture transaction is anticipated to be complete in late 2013, and the new company is expected to have a presence in the Denver area starting in 2014, contingent upon final approval of incentive packages.
