COLORADO SPRINGS – Today, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) along with the Pikes Peak Workforce Center and Southern Colorado Economic Development District (SCEDD) hosted a Regional Talent Summit at Pikes Peak State College to convene industry and community leaders, discuss much needed career pathway solutions and begin developing tactical workforce plans to ensure that Colorado workers develop the skills employers need.

Delegation will Represent Colorado at the Americas Summit Agriculture, Workforce, and Clean Tech Innovation, Convene Governors and Education Leaders

DENVER – To encourage and spur more international cooperation, boost our state’s thriving economy, and discuss best practices in agriculture, workforce, and clean tech innovation, Governor Polis and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) are attending the Americas Summit in Vancouver, Canada.

DENVER – Today, Gov. Jared Polis, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), and Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) announced eleven recipients of voter-approved Proposition 123 Equity funds. This funding is intended to provide investment capital for an estimated 1,017 low- and middle-income multifamily affordable rental housing units in communities across the state including Buena Vista, Denver, Monte Vista and Trinidad.

DURANGO — The Business Funding & Incentives Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) announced today that Durango-based InnerFrame, a media technology company focused on personal development and mental well-being, has been accepted into the Rural Jump-Start Program.

DENVER — A delegation of more than a dozen public, private, and nonprofit leaders from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, is visiting Denver this week as part of a strategic trade and investment mission designed to strengthen economic ties between Colorado and Saskatchewan.

MONTROSE — The Business Funding & Incentives Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) announced today that Italian Food Emporium, LLC, an artisanal pasta manufacturing company, has joined the Rural Jump-Start (RJS) Program. Committed to time-honored Italian pasta-making techniques, Italian Food Emporium will create new jobs, support local agriculture, and sell Montrose-produced pasta to grocery stores throughout Colorado and out of the state.

COLORADO SPRINGS – Today, Governor Polis and the Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced that Okika Devices, a producer of chips and software that enable custom and cutting-edge analog solutions and computing, has selected Colorado Springs for its new headquarters and research and development (R&D) center.
