Mytikas Manufacturing, which utilizes high tech extrusion equipment, is projected to create 170 new jobs in Fremont County and deliver cost-efficient, durable, and eco-friendly housing solutions.

"Colorado is proud to announce the addition of 170 good new jobs by Mytikas Manufacturing in Fremont County. Mytikas delivers cost-efficient, durable, and eco-friendly building solutions. Our Rural Jump-Start initiative helps to stimulate local economies, generate jobs, enhance our quality of life, and address housing needs across the state," said Governor Jared Polis.

The company anticipates making initial hires and commencing production during the third quarter of 2025.

“We are thrilled to become part of the lively Fremont County community. Mytikas Manufacturing is profoundly thankful for OEDIT's help through the Rural Jump-Start and Innovative Housing Incentive programs. Their support was crucial to allow us to bring our vision of sustainable, high-efficiency, and affordable building solutions and tiny homes to life in Colorado,” stated Eric J. Bonick, Mytikas Manufacturing’s Chief Financial Officer.

The Rural Jump-Start program encourages economic development and job creation in economically distressed, rural counties of Colorado. This funding supports regional economic and workforce development activities that seek to expand local business, create new good-paying jobs, and strengthen and diversify local economies. Sponsoring entities like Fremont County Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) help identify business candidates in their communities and work with each business to help ensure its success in the program and in the community.

“We are pleased to welcome Mytikas Manufacturing to Fremont County. The Rural Jump-Start program is a valuable tool for supporting new jobs across Colorado, fostering economic growth and opportunity in our rural communities,” said Eve Lieberman, OEDIT Executive Director. "We are thrilled to witness how programs like RJS and the Innovative Housing Incentive Program can support innovative companies, generating 170 jobs in Fremont County and increasing housing options in Colorado."

“As the sponsoring entity, we were honored to support Mytikas Manufacturing through the Rural Jump-Start process, and we welcome the new jobs and economic opportunities their investment will bring to Fremont County,” said Rob Brown, Executive Director of FEDC.
