Governor Polis and the Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) joined the City of Greeley to announce today that Alquist 3D (Alquist), a manufacturer of 3D printed homes and infrastructure, has selected Greeley, Colorado for expansion. The company, which created the first owner-occupied 3D-printed home in the United States, selected Colorado because of its commitment to developing affordable and attainable housing and workforce development programs.

U.S. Small Business Administration Awards Colorado $700,000 STEP Grant to Spur Small Business Exports

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has awarded the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) a $700,000 State Trade and Expansion Program (STEP) grant to promote international exports for small businesses. This is a $200,000 increase from OEDIT’s 2022 award.

Governor Polis Announces Colorado Author as New Poet Laureate

Today, Governor Polis and the Colorado Creative Industries (CCI) division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced that Andrea Gibson has been selected as the new Colorado Poet Laureate, succeeding Bobby LeFebre. Gibson, a Boulder-based queer activist, author, and slam poet will serve in the role for two years.
