OEDIT Announces Former San Miguel County Commissioner as Head of New Innovative Housing Programs

The Business Funding & Incentives Division (BF&I) within the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) has named Hilary Cooper as Director of Innovative Funding for Housing Programs to support new housing initiatives within OEDIT. Cooper will oversee programming designed to increase the supply of affordable and attainable housing across Colorado by leveraging traditional and innovative economic development tools to create new jobs and new housing units. 

New Semiconductor Industry Manager to Spearhead U.S. CHIPS Initiative for Colorado

The Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) has named Dan Salvetti as Semiconductor Industry Manager. This new role will support the continued growth of Colorado’s semiconductor industry and play a key role in implementing new OEDIT programming to aid Colorado companies in benefitting from the federal CHIPS and Science Act.

Polis Administration Continues to Support Colorado’s Outdoor Industry: OREC Announces Third Round of Colorado State Outdoor Recreation Grant Recipients

Today, Governor Polis and the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office (OREC) of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced 12 new recipients of the Colorado State Outdoor Recreation grant across the state. These grants will promote career development, hiring efforts and marketing in Colorado’s thriving outdoor recreation sector and have been awarded to organizations from Craig to Ridgway and Arvada to Colorado City.

Chaffee County Regional Film Office Opens

The Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media (COFTM), a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT), is excited to announce the opening of the Chaffee County Regional Film Office. Expanding Venture Capital in Southern Colorado: State Announces New VCA Partnership with Colorado ONE Fund
