Side Stories Returns with Pop-up Immersion Experience in Downtown Denver’s Dairy Block

Side Stories, an immersive and innovative cinematic experience on Denver’s urban exterior, returns to the metro area with a special summer installment at The Dairy Block  August 1 to 8.

During the large-format digital film installation, original short works from eight Colorado artists will be projected onto a large statement wall in the venue’s alleyway and beneath the iconic mirrored overpass, creating a unique, interactive experience for visitors.

National Endowment for the Arts Recognizes Colorado’s Josephine Lobato as 2019 NEA National Heritage Fellow

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) today announced Josephine Lobato as one of their 2019 National Heritage Fellows.

The National Heritage Fellowships—the nation’s highest honor in the folk and traditional arts—recognize recipients’ artistic excellence and support their continuing contributions to the country’s traditional arts heritage.

Colorado Arts Organizations Receive More than $2.7 Million in Arts Grants National Endowment for the Arts Announces Second Round of Fiscal 2019 Awards

The National Endowment for the Arts announced in May that 21 Colorado arts organizations received $2,797,100 in the second round of 2019 National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Awards.

“Colorado has a large, diverse and rich arts scene that supports hundreds of jobs across the state,” said Margaret Hunt, Director of the Colorado Creative Industries. “We are excited to see so many Colorado arts organizations recognized for their exceptional work.”
