The Visitor Services department manages ten Colorado Welcome Center locations. Serving Colorado visitors for thirty plus years, the welcome center program is aimed at driving traveler spending and dispersing visitors across the state. The welcome centers are a valuable platform for both the industry and state agency partners, as they greet on average one million guests per year. Guests are typically seeking a Colorado roadmap, Official State Visitor Guides, and other travel literature.

The Visitor Services program offers volunteer opportunities to Colorado residents who would like to assist travelers with information. Volunteer travel counselors who reside in or near locations with an official welcome center can reach out for more information on volunteering. Recognition and incentive programs include educational trips within Colorado, tourism training and community engagement.

Volunteer Opportunities: If you are located near a Colorado welcome center and interested in volunteering please reach out to the Director of Visitor Services to learn more and get directly connected to the local center in your community.

Welcome Center Partnership Program: An industry partnership program that offers resources, benefits and networking opportunities for participating centers. Centers throughout the state can apply for a partnership as a community or regional partner with the Colorado Tourism Office Visitor Services Program.

Welcome Center Brochure Advertising: Colorado organizations and businesses can submit brochures to display at 10 official Colorado Welcome Centers.

Welcome Center Digital Advertising: Colorado organizations and businesses can showcase advertising messages on a digital screen within the interior walls of the Colorado welcome centers.
