OEDIT Announces $24 Million in Proposition 123 Funding for Modular and Innovative Housing Projects

Today, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced that $24 million from the Proposition 123 Affordable Housing Financing Fund will prioritize funding housing projects that utilize products from Colorado-based, off-site housing manufacturers. 

“Colorado Creates” Provides 125 Grants Awarded Across 33 Colorado Counties to Arts Organizations

DENVER — Today, Governor Polis and the Colorado Creative Industries Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced that 125 arts organizations across 33 Colorado counties have been awarded $909,000 in Colorado Creates Grants. From Montezuma to Morgan County, these grants will help organizations and communities create art and cultural activities by providing general operating support.

Governor Polis Announces New Grants to Support Job Creation in Coal Transition Communities

Rocky Mountain Steel, Inc. Becomes 100% Employee Owned

OLATHE – Today, Gov. Polis and the Colorado Employee Ownership Office, housed within the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), announced that Rocky Mountain Steel, Inc., based in Olathe, Colorado, is now 100% employee owned. The company transitioned to a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in June with support from the Employee Ownership Office.

BOULDER — Today, the Sundance Institute selected Boulder, Colorado as a finalist to host the Sundance Film Festival starting in 2027. If selected, hosting the Festival in Colorado will create new jobs, attract out-of-state visitors, and boost winter tourism that will support small businesses in Boulder and surrounding areas while elevating Colorado’s creative industries.

More Housing Now: Proposition 123 Funds to Help Create 628 Affordable Housing Units

DENVER – Today, Gov. Jared Polis, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), and the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) announced the preliminary selection of the first six recipients of the voter-approved Proposition 123 Equity program. These funds will provide investment capital for low- and middle-income multifamily affordable rental housing projects, supporting the creation of an estimated 628 affordable housing units.
