DENVER — This week, the State of Colorado announced on behalf of the Boulder Convention and Visitors Bureau (Visit Boulder) and a regional coalition of partners, including the City of Boulder, the Boulder Chamber, the University of Colorado Boulder and the Stanley Film Center, that a proposal was submitted to host the Sundance Film Festival in Boulder, Colorado starting in 2027.

The nonprofit global arts organization Sundance Institute and the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado announced today that the Stanley Hotel will host the Institute’s signature Directors Lab in 2024 with support from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT). For over four decades, Sundance Institute labs have brought together promising new independent storytellers with accomplished artists to develop new work and build a long-lasting, vibrant community.

The multi-part documentary series follows American football coach Deion Sanders, with Season Two following Sanders’ transition from coaching the Jackson State University Tigers to the University of Colorado. 

Today, the Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media (COFTM) within the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced that Mile High Hockey: The Year Colorado Won It All has been approved for a Colorado Film Incentive. 

A new documentary, Co-Existing with Wildfire, will premier on Rocky Mountain PBS (RMPBS) on Sunday, July 30, at 10:30 a.m. The film explores the shared responsibilities of local, state, and federal agencies to steward public lands by managing and mitigating wildfires.
