The Colorado Office of Film, Television, and Media (COFTM) within the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) is excited to announce that production has begun on the second season of Amazon Prime Video’s Coach Prime. The multi-part documentary series follows American football coach Deion Sanders, with Season Two following Sanders’ transition from coaching the Jackson State University Tigers to the University of Colorado.
The Colorado Economic Development Commission approved a Colorado Film Incentive for Coach Prime Season Two in March 2023. Per the applicant’s estimations, COFTM anticipates approximately $4.9 million in qualified local expenditures, resulting in an anticipated rebate of $500,000. With the multiplier effect, the economic impact could reach up to $9 million.
