Colorado’s New Certified Creative Districts of Durango, Loveland and Sterling Announced

Colorado Creative Industries (CCI) today announced the five-year certification of three new Creative Districts in Durango, Loveland and Sterling. 

In addition, 40 West Arts District Lakewood, Downtown Colorado Springs Creative District, Greeley Creative District, Downtown Longmont Arts and Entertainment District and RiNo Art District were approved for recertification.

Finalists Announced for 2020 Arts in Society Grants

RedLine is excited to announce 52 finalists who will submit full proposals to be considered for Arts in Society grants in the coming year. The Arts in Society grant-making program fosters cross-sector work through the arts by funding projects that utilize art to address social issues and community needs across Colorado, and is a collaboration between Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, Colorado Creative Industries, Hemera Foundation, the SCFD, and The Colorado Health Foundation in partnership with RedLine Contemporary Art Center.

Etsy Names Pueblo a 2019 Maker Cities Grantee

National Endowment for the Arts Recognizes Colorado’s Josephine Lobato as 2019 NEA National Heritage Fellow

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) today announced Josephine Lobato as one of their 2019 National Heritage Fellows.

Colorado Arts Organizations Receive More than $2.7 Million in Arts Grants National Endowment for the Arts Announces Second Round of Fiscal 2019 Awards

The National Endowment for the Arts announced in May that 21 Colorado arts organizations received $2,797,100 in the second round of 2019 National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Awards.

“Colorado has a large, diverse and rich arts scene that supports hundreds of jobs across the state,” said Margaret Hunt, Director of the Colorado Creative Industries. “We are excited to see so many Colorado arts organizations recognized for their exceptional work.”
