Professional Pathways Program

The Professional Pathways Program program is a tier based professional networking and development program for film students across the state. This utilizes workforce centers and professional partners such as Karsh Hagen, Rocky Mountain PBS, PBS12, Mass FX, Growl Agency, and Battery621 in order to offer a diverse catalog of opportunities to students.

Tier 1: Students will be able to visit a partner’s site and complete a guided tour that ends with a Q&A session where students can engage with what they saw during the tour.

Tier 2: Partners will offer up 4 one-hour time slots where paired students can inquire about various topics, delve into their specific areas of interest, showcase their own work, or seek guidance. These meetings serve as an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate responsibility and initiate the development of their networking abilities.

Tier 3: Student resumes will be forwarded to different professional partners, who will then choose students possessing the desired skills or focus for their respective roles. Selected students will be offered mini internships, providing them with valuable hands-on experience in their chosen field.

Tier 4: Students who receive an internship position with a professional partner, will then be able to receive accreditation within their degree.
