Colorado Experience Road Show

The Colorado Experience Road Show hosts events across the state to premiere Colorado Experience episodes in communities where the historical documentary series was filmed. All screenings are free and open to the public.

Colorado Experience is an Emmy Award-winning series produced by Rocky Mountain PBS. It features the people, places, and events that shape Colorado. Each 30-minute episode presents Colorado history in an entertaining, quick-paced, and educational format featuring interviews with experts and historical photos donated by libraries and museums across the state.

Colorado Experience airs Thursday nights at 7:30 pm, and new episodes premiere October through May.

After each screening, there is a question and answer session with producers of the show and local historians.

We cannot accept requests to host screenings, as the locations of the tour depend on Rocky Mountain PBS’s episode slate.

Due to COVID-19, we postponed this event for 2020. Check back for updates or sign up for the Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media newsletter.
