Polis Administration Announces Companies Selected to Receive the Innovative Cannabis Business Pilot Grant

The Polis Administration today announced the 16 businesses selected to receive the Cannabis Business Office’s Cannabis Business Pilot Grant, an innovative program to save small businesses money, foster equity and diversity in the cannabis industry, and create good-paying jobs for Coloradans.

Arts in Society Grant to Promote Cross-sector Work through the Arts in 2022

From July 1-August 29, 2022, RedLine Contemporary Art Center will be accepting Arts in Society grant applications for cross-sector projects that engage the arts to address or raise awareness of civic, social and community-informed challenges statewide.

Polis Administration Secures Craft Brewing Company for New Northglenn Headquarters

The Polis Administration and the Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced today that Prost Brewing Company, a Colorado-based craft brewery, has selected the city of Northglenn for its new headquarters and expansion project, including a showcase production facility, distribution center and world-class biergarten.

Colorado’s Poetry Out Loud Champion Headed to National Finals

Colorado’s 2022 Poetry Out Loud Champion, Aidyn Lorin Jai Reid of Fountain Valley High School in Colorado Springs, will compete for the title of 2022 Poetry Out Loud™ National Champion this Sunday, June 5 in a live, virtual event. Reid will be one of nine students vying for the coveted title and a $20,000 prize as part of the annual poetry recitation competition from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the Poetry Foundation.

$8.5 million Advanced Industries Awards Accelerate 38 Colorado Startups and Researchers

Advances in healthcare technology, data security and intelligence, energy storage and manufacturing all received a boost this week from the Global Business Development division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) Advanced Industries Accelerator Grant Program. A total of $8,517,011 was approved for Proof-of-Concept and Early Stage Capital and Retention Grants to support Colorado’s advanced industries.
