Today, Governor Polis and the Business Funding & Incentives division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced three new recipients of the Innovative Housing Incentive Program (IHIP) grant. This transformational grant continues the Polis Administration’s work to increase the supply of housing across Colorado. The funding announced today will directly incentivize the creation of over 480 attainable housing units across Colorado.

Today, Governor Polis and the Business Funding & Incentives Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) announced today that High Altitude Geothermal, LLC is the first Moffat County business and the first geothermal company to join the Rural Jump-Start (RJS) program. The RJS program is intended to encourage economic development and job creation in rural communities across the state.

RANGELY- Today, Governor Polis and the Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) announced two Coal Transition Community grants to fund projects that will diversify local economies in western Colorado, including the Town of Rangely and the communities of Natarita and Nucla in the West End of Montrose County and Norwood in San Miguel County.

DENVER – Today, Gov. Jared Polis, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), and the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) announced the preliminary selection of the first six recipients of the voter-approved Proposition 123 Equity program. These funds will provide investment capital for low- and middle-income multifamily affordable rental housing projects, supporting the creation of an estimated 628 affordable housing units.

Proposal outlines plan to host Sundance Film Festival in Boulder starting in 2027

DENVER — Today, the State of Colorado announced plans on behalf of the Boulder Convention and Visitors Bureau (Visit Boulder) and a regional coalition of partners, including the City of Boulder, the Boulder Chamber, the University of Colorado Boulder and the Stanley Film Center, to submit a proposal today to host the Sundance Film Festival in Boulder, Colorado starting in 2027.
