In some cases, these buildings are no longer in use or require some renovation which provides opportunities for Coloradans to reacclimate these buildings to help them become vital parts of their communities again.

Today, Governor Polis and the Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced that Spectrum Advanced Manufacturing Technologies has selected Colorado Springs, Colorado for expansion. The company creates products that are integral to advanced manufacturing and assembly, and provides quick-turn product development and manufacturing services for aerospace, medical, industrial and commercial marketplaces.

DENVER — Today, Governor Polis and the Business Funding & Incentives Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) announced the first three businesses to join the Rural Jump-Start (RJS) program in Pueblo County: AMCON Distributing Company, Ask Oracle and Fomcore. Collectively, these companies expect to create 59 full time jobs above the average annual wage in Pueblo County.

DENVER – Today, Governor Polis and the Business Funding & Incentives division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced 11 Community Business Preservation grants to support community businesses and retain jobs across the state. These grants will be paired with training and consultation for 58 unique, independently-owned small businesses in Colorado that are culturally, socially, or historically significant and serve their communities in meaningful ways.

A close look at the Rural Jump-Start program and the firsts that it inspires

COLORADO SPRINGS – Governor Polis and the Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced today that Invictus International Consulting, a Veteran-owned cybersecurity and technology integrator, has selected Colorado Springs for expansion. Invictus will provide cybersecurity and Internet Service Provider (ISP) engineering and operations support for government agencies, defense organizations, and private sector clients.

Today, Governor Polis and the Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) announced Coal Transition Community funding to establish a Northwest Small Business Development Center (SBDC) satellite office in northwest Colorado. The new office will serve Moffat, Rio Blanco and Routt counties, supporting the creation and growth of small businesses as local communities look to diversify their economies and create new jobs.

Today, Gov. Jared Polis, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), and Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) announced funding to support the growth of eight modular housing manufacturers across Colorado. Collectively, these manufacturers are projected to create 4,755 housing units per year.

Today, Governor Polis and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) congratulate the Colorado—Wyoming Climate Resilience Engine (CO-WY Engine) on its groundbreaking selection by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) as an NSF Engines grant recipient. This prestigious award positions the CO-WY Engine to receive up to $160 million over the next 10 years to transform Colorado and the region into a national leader in developing climate-resilient and sustainable technologies.
