14 Artists Awarded $217,000 in Cycle B of Colorado Creative Corps ARP Grant

DENVER -- Colorado Creative Industries, a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), announced today that 14 grantees have been awarded $217,000 in American Rescue Plan funding through Cycle B of the Colorado Creative Corps ARP grant. This funding initiative is supported through Colorado’s partnership agreement with the National Endowment for the Arts.

$1 million Advanced Industries Awards Support Five Colorado Accelerator Programs

The Advanced Industries Accelerator (AIA) Program announced today that five Colorado accelerator programs were approved to receive a Business Accelerator Grant for a total of $1,078,454 in funding (full awardee list below).

This one-time grant opportunity was opened to new and existing Colorado accelerator programs serving early-stage companies in the advanced industries. The funding is meant to accelerate the commercialization and innovation of advanced industries technologies and companies through education, resources, and mentorship.

State of Colorado & Government of Finland Form Partnership to Create Collaborative Economic Opportunities

Today, Colorado Governor Jared Polis and the Government of Finland signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to create collaborative opportunities regarding bilateral foreign direct investment, bilateral research and development projects, and company exchanges and expansion opportunities. The MOU specifies development and commercial sectors on sustainable and advanced technologies, including but not limited to computing technologies, including quantum tech, green economy advancements and aerospace technology and applications.

Applications Open for Colorado’s 2022 Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting Nominations

The Global Business Development division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced that online applications are now open for the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting.

Established in 1970, the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting recognizes economic growth through international business. Winners will be formally recognized at World Trade Day on May 24, 2022, the region’s annual premier international trade event.
