Beckman Coulter Life Sciences Chooses Colorado for New Facility

DENVER -- The Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) announced today that Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Fortune 500 bioscience precision instruments manufacturer, has selected northern Colorado for its expanded research and development facility.

“Beckman Coulter Life Sciences will bring 85 good-paying jobs in the key advanced industry of bioscience to Northern Colorado, further positioning our state as a growing industry leader in the area, ” said Governor Polis. “We want to ensure that the economic recovery is strong throughout the state and I’m excited to announce this welcome news for northern Colorado.”

“We have been on a rapid growth journey in Loveland since 2018 when we started with nearly three-dozen employees,” said Greg Milosevich, President of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. “Our strong business needs required us to ramp up quickly last year and we’re proud that despite the economic downturn in 2020, we were able to create more than 60 high-paying jobs in Loveland.”

The company currently employs approximately 130 people in Loveland and anticipates consistent annual workforce growth over the coming years, creating up to 85 new high-paying jobs in fields including scientific research, engineering, and project management. Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is also investing $9 million in a state-of-the art new office building near the Colorado Regional Airport in the Axis 25 development.

“We have been impressed with the caliber of the talent pool in the greater Loveland area along with the prime location, culture, educational opportunities, and business environment,” Milosevich continued. “We’re excited to deepen our commitment to offering Coloradans a positive work environment with a commitment to diversity and inclusion, which is part of why we’re a preferred employer with a less than 10% turnover rate.”

As future work environments continue to evolve, the new office setup features several enhancements including collaboration zones, breakout rooms, technology centers, gathering spaces, a gym, and indoor-outdoor hybrid meeting spaces which take advantage of the Colorado climate and scenery.

An innovative Customer Engagement Center will also be included which will allow customers an inside look at the solutions available from Beckman Coulter Life Sciences along with how they are created and can be tailored to meet individual needs.

The company continuously updates job listings on its Careers page.
