Colorado Employee Ownership Commission

The Colorado Employee Ownership Commission was established by Governor Jared Polis in April 2019 to support the Employee Ownership Office.

The commission is tasked with:

  • establishing a wide-reaching network of technical support for businesses wanting to become employee-owned
  • educating businesses and communities on the benefits of becoming employee-owned businesses
  • identifying and removing any barriers to the development and advancement of employee-owned businesses

Under the commission, there are two sub-committees that help to support employee ownership:

  • Finance and Policy Committee
  • Marketing Committee
