Colorado SBDC Announces New State Director

The Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT), announced today that Hannah Krieger has been named State Director of the SBDC Network. This position is instrumental in supporting small businesses throughout the state as they start, grow, create quality jobs and contribute to the fabrics of their communities.

Colorado Springs Chamber & Economic Development Corporation to Serve as New Host for Pikes Peak SBDC

October 28, 2021 – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are partnering to celebrate active military, veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouse entrepreneurs for Veterans Entrepreneurial Week November 1-5, 2021.

As part of Veterans Entrepreneurial Week, we celebrate the resilience and strength of the #VetBiz community by hosting free events and sharing information on the resources available to veteran entrepreneurs.

US Small Business Administration Awards Colorado Disaster Designation for Glenwood Springs Mudslide

DENVER, CO – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced it has awarded a disaster declaration in Garfield, Eagle, Mesa, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, and Routt counties as a result of flooding, mudslides, rockslides and associated closures of Glenwood Canyon. Businesses in these counties are eligible to apply for loans through the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program to offset the cost of this disaster on their business.
