A scout for the hit television show, “Shark Tank”, had seen him at the 2020 Outdoor Retailer at the Colorado Convention Center and wanted to know if he was interested in possibly being on the show.

Grant tees up $3 million in recovery work, including $1 million in grants to stakeholders

Jan. 19, 2021 - The Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) has secured $2.4 million in CARES Act Recovery Assistance from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA), funding recovery work that will include direct assistance for more than 30 Colorado destinations and up to 20 tourism-related industry groups.

DENVER – Rural Colorado communities that were previously ineligible can now align their economic development projects with an approved Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) equivalent plan when submitting grant applications to the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA).
