Creative Capitol Exhibit: Teaching/Artist

Think 360 Arts for Learning has been selected for the Creative Capitol Exhibition. The exhibit will be active from September 2018 to January 2019.

For 55 years, Think 360 Arts for Learning has led Colorado in cultivating and sustaining the arts as an essential part of a complete education, a vibrant economy and a dynamic community, through creative experiences for students, teachers and artists.  Think 360 Arts delivers powerful arts experiences grounded in solid pedagogy to schools, libraries, senior living facilities and other community venues. Think 360 Arts focuses on in-depth programming that helps students and their teachers learn to express themselves creatively, engage more deeply in learning, think critically and grow personally.

With a vibrant roster of over 65 local artists, Think 360 Arts brings first-rate arts experiences to schools and communities throughout the state of Colorado. This exhibition highlights the diverse talents of the Colorado creatives employed as Teaching Artists for Think 360 Arts for Learning. The teaching artist straddles two worlds of creativity and innovation, manifesting the creation of their own artistic practice while sharing that practice with students of all ages. This exhibit includes works by three artists – Robert Campagna, Jennifer Ghormley and Tony Ortega – representing the diverse vision, talent and creativity of Think 360’s robust roster. From photography to printmaking, installation to murals, Think 360 Teaching Artists are using education to cement their craft while fostering an appreciation for the arts in future generations.
