Summer Itineraries For All Ages to Explore Our Colorado Backyard and #ShopLocalColorado

Summer is rapidly approaching and you might be considering what you want to put on your Colorado summer bucket list.

The Colorado Tourism Office maintains a list of Colo-Road Trips so you have ready-to-go itineraries as you plan out your summer adventures or stay-cations. There are over 250 itineraries spanning the entire state that can be filtered by location, activity, trip length and season. These itineraries offer fun for all ages and allow you to support local small businesses across the state, including restaurants you can visit along the way.

Colo-Road Trips Educational Itineraries offer the added bonus of trips crafted with hands-on learning and educational adventures. With such an unconventional two years, kids are itching to learn in an interactive way while seeing more of their Colorado backyard.

Each road trip itinerary is designed specifically for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade, however, the activities can be enjoyed by kids of all ages including parents. These itineraries are a great way to organize a family vacation without having to do any planning and a way to keep the kids busy while they are out of school for the summer break.

There are eight educational itineraries to choose from, depending on what area of Colorado you have been hoping to explore.
