  This program certifies communities that contribute to our state’s economy through creativity, culture, and the arts.
• Colorado Dark Sky Certification Mentor Program
  Participants in the Colorado Dark Sky Certification Mentor program will receive 70 hours of free consulting support from DarkSky Colorado to implement activities that reduce light pollution and protect access to Colorado’s incredible night skies.
• Colorado Music Ambassador
  This position recognizes and supports Colorado musicians whose public service improves Colorado economically, socially, and culturally.
• Colorado Poet Laureate
  The laureate advocates for poetry, literacy, and literature by participating in readings and other events at the state capitol, schools, libraries, and literary festivals.
• Creative Capitol Exhibition
  This program helps Colorado artists by highlighting their work through rotating art exhibitions to the State Capitol building.
• Employee Ownership Tax Credit
  This tax credit covers up to 50% of a qualified business’ conversion costs to employee ownership (up to $150,000.00). Check the program page to learn more about the recently expanded program.
