MEDIA ALERT -- The Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media has approved a Colorado Film Incentive for a reality television show with national exposure to film in Colorado. Rock the Block is a home renovation competition series featuring some of HGTV’s most accomplished and well-known stars as they renovate four homes on the same block, incorporating their signature styles. Rock the Block is the network’s #1 competition reality show, and the fourth season will be filming in Berthoud, Colorado.
The production was approved for a $697,000 film incentive by the Economic Development Commission. The production will spend an estimated $3.5 million locally and hire 46 local crew members. Production is set to begin this fall and continue through November 2022.
