The Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Colorado Tourism Efforts honor six individuals and organizations that improve and innovate Colorado’s tourism industry. Awards are presented at the Governor's Tourism Conference each fall.
Governor’s Award for Outstanding Community Tourism Initiative
Acknowledges an activity, event, or project by a community or region to promote tourism in Colorado. This year's finalists are:
- Chaffee's Got Heart, Chaffee County Visitors Bureau
- Glenwood Gold Visitor Stimulus Incentive, Visit Glenwood Springs
- Welcome Home Neighbor, Vail Valley Partnership

Governor’s Award for Outstanding Individual Contribution to Colorado Tourism
Recognizes an individual for their contributions to promoting and developing the Colorado tourism industry. This year's finalists are:
- Becky Leinweber, Executive Director, Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance
- Lucy Kay, President & CEO, Breckenridge Tourism Office
- Steven A. Valdez, Director, Visit Pueblo Welcome Center

Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Marketing Program
Presented to a Colorado organization for either a single targeted promotion or a full campaign to recognize creativity and excellence in promoting tourism. This year's finalists are:
- Naturally Socially Distant, Colorado Cross Country Ski Association
- Colorado Liquid Arts Passport Program, Colorado Association for Viticulture & Enology (CAVE),Colorado Brewers Guild, Colorado Cider Guild, Colorado Distillers Guild
- Roam from Home Campaign, Visit Grand Junction

Jack Snow Award for Outstanding Volunteer
Presented to an individual who has devoted their free time to promoting Colorado and improving the visitor experience. This year's finalists are:
- Grace Krivec, Colorado Welcome Center in Trinidad
- Jim Morrison, Colorado Welcome Center Burlington
- Marlene Garrelts, Colorado Welcome Center in Julesburg

Governor’s Award for Outstanding Sustainable Tourism Initiative, Project, or Program
Honors an activity, event, project, or program that reduces the impact of travelers on special places and natural resources in Colorado. This year's finalists are:
- Adventure By Nature Pledge, Chaffee County Visitors Bureau
- Pikes Peak - America's Mountain, Pikes Peak Summit Visitor Center
- The Roaring Fork + Farm Map, Carbondale Tourism
