A “rural advocate” to the core, Julie Worley genuinely believes that we must encourage and foster adult and youth business entrepreneurship if our rural communities are going to “survive and thrive”. Raised on a beautiful ranch in the Sandhills of Western Nebraska, Julie graduated from National American University/Rapid City with a BS degree in Business Management.
For the past 20+ years, Julie has worked as a rural economic development director/consultant in NE and SE Colorado, and has directed and hosted the successful SE Colorado Youth Entrepreneurship Project (YEP) since 2016. An active member of her community, Julie has served on various local, regional and state committees – all focusing on entrepreneurship, business, and arts in her community and rural SE region of Colorado. In her spare time, Julie enjoys her 11 grandchildren scattered across three states, and her involvement in her Church and bible study.
