Each year, the Minority Business Office of Colorado (MBO) awards grants to up to ten minority, veteran and women-owned businesses that show great potential for branching out into international markets or expanding their existing international markets to other regions.
Colorado boasts one of the top economies in the United States. The state’s industry diversity was a key to Colorado being the last state to enter the 2008 recession and the first state to come out of it. Part of this success comes from ensuring that economic opportunities are accessible to all Coloradans. To do this, the Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC) network offers a variety of programs and resources throughout the state.
The Colorado Minority Business Office, the Colorado Small Business Development Center Network and the Rocky Mountain World Trade Center Institute announced today the grant award to eight minority, veteran and women-owned companies in Colorado.
