Today, the Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media (COFTM), a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), announces that a Colorado-based television show has been approved for a Colorado Film Incentive. High Science is an unscripted reality television show focusing on the business, science, and people behind cannabis companies as well as the development of cannabis products. The series will follow the family at the helm of Clear Cannabis Inc, a venture capital firm that invests in the worldwide cannabis industry.
The production was approved for a $221,000 film incentive by the Colorado Economic Development Commission. The production expects to spend an estimated $1.1 million locally and hire 26 local cast and crew members. Production has already begun and will continue through February 2023.
